At the same time, the Deputy head of administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov previously stated about the upcoming battle for the regional center. These words, by the way, contrary to his own other statements in which he talked about his upcoming retirement from the right Bank of the Dnieper. Stremousov in the last days really speaks often contradictory things. This may indicate that the civil administration of the region does not have full information about the plans of the Russian command, which is understandable and natural.
Institute for the study of war (ISW), the United States also commented on the situation with the disappearance of the Russian flag on the building of the administration of the Kherson region, as well as with the evacuation of the regional government in Genichesk. According to American analysts, such a development may be associated with the fact that Russian troops are preparing for urban battles in Kherson.
Earlier, the Ukrainian politicians said that the Russian command allegedly wants to use Kherson as "trap" by luring to the Ukrainian army. With this purpose, allegedly carried out the stuffing in the information space of the message of impending abandonment of the right Bank of the Dnieper and the retreat from Kherson.
