Formed in spring of this year, information about the development of a new coastal missile system armed hypersonic missile "Zircon", has been confirmed. According to a source familiar with the situation, the prototype of the mobile launcher under "Zircon" was developed and is already being tested.
Work on the creation of BRK with hypersonic missile "Zircon" is in full swing, the launcher is already in hardware and is preparing to pass the preliminary tests. According to the source, the mobile station is reminiscent of BRK "Bastion" with "Onyx", it is also available on four-axle chassis and carries two missiles. No other details yet.

That Russia is developing a coastal missile complex for the rocket "Zircon", it was reported in may of this year. The developer of the new BRK is Reutov NPO Mashinostroyenia.
