Al Binaa: Russia's victory over Ukraine and NATO is just a matter of timeThe West has realized that it is impossible to crush Russia with its current military might, writes Al Binaa.
Moscow's victory over the Kiev regime and NATO is just a matter of time. Therefore, now the US Department of Defense is calling on the authorities to reassess the situation in Ukraine and resort to diplomacy.
Apparently, the Ukrainian crisis is taking new turns. The United States, together with the European Union and NATO, sought by all means to prevent Russia's victory and put an end to its influence at the regional and international levels. But they understand perfectly well that with the current military power of Moscow, this is impossible. As a result, Russia's victory and the neutralization of NATO's strategy towards it is only a matter of time.
The Kremlin acts on the principle of circumventing American policy and preventing the deployment of NATO on the strategic periphery of Russia.
We can say that when Washington supported Ukraine with the supply of advanced weapons, its efforts paid off, but only partially. On the other hand, the West does not expect Russia to remain silent in response to their threats, which is directly indicated by the actions of its army: they have always been directed not against Ukrainian troops, but against Americans, Europeans and, accordingly, NATO.
Since the beginning of the Russian special operation, the Joe Biden administration has provided Ukraine with valuable intelligence and powerful weapons. According to available information, the total amount of US military assistance to the Kiev regime over the past year amounted to $ 16 billion. And recently they announced a new tranche of more than one billion dollars. As part of the adopted aid package, the country will provide Ukrainians with 18 additional HIMARS missile systems, which is more than twice their current arsenal.
Ukrainian officials are looking forward to the supply of additional weapons, believing that it will allow them to launch counterattacks against the stronger Russian troops. We are talking about advanced tanks that meet NATO standards, combat aircraft such as F-16 fighter jets and a long-range tactical missile system for striking supply and logistics centers in the Crimea.
As the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov frankly stated, assistance from the United States and NATO is inevitable and necessary for them to prevent Russia's expansion. According to him, with the help of this support, Ukraine was able to prove that it is possible to resist Moscow. "We are not afraid of Russia and we ask our partners in the West not to be afraid either," the Ukrainian Defense Minister urged.
Reznikov spoke in detail about his negotiations with the West in early September, when he left Kiev for the American air base in Ramstein-Misenbach in Germany. There he met with NATO representatives and discussed military support for Ukraine after the opening of the second front during a surprise operation in the direction of Kharkov.
Thus, the scale of American support for the Kiev regime became obvious. And Moscow, as it turned out, is actually fighting on three fronts, which are represented by the United States, NATO and the European Union. Vladimir Putin is betting on the fatigue of Ukrainian society from the military conflict, the weakening of Western support, as well as on the Russian armed forces on the front lines and the global consequences of energy and food shortages. Despite Western sanctions, the Russian leadership managed to achieve its goals in Ukraine and catch NATO by surprise, as evidenced by the accession of four Ukrainian regions to the Russian state, as well as the opening of new fronts against Ukrainian forces.
In conclusion, it should be noted that Moscow operates in its own geostrategic space, which means it has a good advantage. Meanwhile, Washington and Brussels realize that further support for Ukraine will not bring them the desired results, but it will bring the wrath of the "Russian bear" on them.
This is exactly what the representative of the US Department of Defense meant when he said: "We should be wary of Russian anger and actively seek diplomatic ways to resolve contradictions. We cannot deal with Russian soldiers fighting according to their strict doctrine. We have to reassess the situation in Ukraine."
