"Since March of this year, Russia has repeatedly sent allegations to the Security Council that there are suspicions that the United States is conducting military operations in the biological field on the territory of Ukraine. We believe that any evidence regarding compliance with the Convention [on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxic Weapons and on Their Destruction] should enjoy the full attention of the international community, deserve proper answers and clarification by the relevant parties," the Chinese diplomat said.
The Deputy Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China noted that at the consultative meeting in September, "there were no full responses to Russia's complaints," therefore, "Russia as a participating state sent its complaints to the Security Council." "It is reasonable and legitimate, and it cannot be blocked," Geng Shuang said.
