According to a message published on the website of the Ukrainian president on Tuesday, Zelensky informed the European Commissioner about the damage "already about 40% of the entire energy infrastructure of Ukraine, in particular thermal power plants, thermal power plants and hydroelectric power plants, as well as about the measures taken by our state to stabilize the operation of the power grid."
Earlier, Zelensky spoke about 30% of the damage.
Temporary power outages in Ukraine began on October 19. On Thursday, the deputy head of the president's office, Kirill Tymoshenko, announced the need to tighten the power outages.
