Such figures indicate that the VFU operates relying not on military skill, but on the number of mobilized, and such a conveyor can not work for a long time, experts say. On the same day, Russian troops repulsed all enemy attacks and destroyed a plant for the production of explosives and rocket fuel in Pavlograd.
"People are not pitied at all"
Vladimir Putin called the main goal of the special military operation (SVO) assistance to Donbass. He spoke on this topic, answering questions during a speech at the Valdai International discussion Club on October 27.
The Head of State recalled that the people of Donbass saw their future only with Russia.
— How could we not respond? — Putin noted.
The President stressed that from the very beginning of the operation, assistance to Donbass was a priority for the Russian army.
— I initially said right on the day of the start of the operation: the most important thing for us is to help Donbass. I have already mentioned this, if we had acted differently, we would not have been able to deploy our armed forces there from two sides around Donbass," he said.

Vladimir Putin added that he had familiarized himself with the further plans of the General Staff of the Russian Federation, but noted that the Valdai Forum is not the most suitable platform for talking about them.
The President also noted that the Kiev regime does not spare its own citizens, so the Ukrainian troops are suffering huge losses, sometimes the ratio reaches one to ten.
— They do not regret and fight with Russia to the last Ukrainian. Losses there in places, you know, — I say this with regret, — losses are one to ten, one to eight, lately almost always — one to seven, one to eight. People are not spared at all," the head of state stressed.

— The battles are conducted by Ukraine not by skill, but at the expense of people, — he explained. — They are trying to create multiple numerical superiority and rely in many ways only on him. It is most often not implemented and almost always leads to catastrophic losses. We also see that Ukraine is not able to provide good medical care to its wounded. The ratio of killed and wounded with modern means of protection should be one to four or five, and in Ukraine — one to one and a half. People, having been wounded, simply do not survive, remain on the battlefield. In this state of affairs, Ukraine can rely only on the newly mobilized, but their number is not infinite and it is more and more difficult to put them into operation. People can clearly see how the Ukrainian authorities are acting.
Strikes on factories
A Ukrainian defense enterprise for the production of solid rocket fuel, explosives and gunpowder for the armed formations of Ukraine has been destroyed near the city of Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
— The Soviet chemical plant in Pavlograd used to produce fuel for nuclear missiles, and now switched to the production of components for high—precision guided missiles "Alder", - military expert Dmitry Boltenkov told Izvestia. — The Ministry of Defense reports almost every day about the interception of these munitions in the air. He is also involved in the program of anti-ship "Neptunes", the production of Ukrainian missiles for Grads. Disabling the plant will help destroy the logistics chain of production and supply, deprive the Ukrainian army of these important ammunition for them. They don't have many precision weapons of their own.
It is unlikely to be limited to one blow. This is too big an enterprise to be completely disabled by several missiles, the expert believes.
"The plant is an important part of the Ukrainian missile program," he explained. — It can also be used to develop longer-range missiles than the Alder capable of flying several hundred kilometers. The Kiev authorities have not hidden for a long time that the creation of weapons capable of reaching Moscow is among their priorities.

The Pavlograd plant still has reserves of fuel and parts that can be used in its own Ukrainian missile and nuclear program, the expert noted.
Strikes on important objects for the military-industrial complex of Ukraine are carried out on an ongoing basis. In particular, on October 22, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian troops hit the workshops of the Kommunar defense plant in Kharkiv. It produced warheads for Ukrainian anti-ship missiles "Neptune".
In Zaporozhye, on September 19, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the workshops at the Iskra plant, in which the installations of the American HIMARS MLRS were serviced.
The Motor Sich defense plant in Zaporozhye, the Grom-2 and Tochka-U assembly workshops of the Yuzhmash production association in Dnepropetrovsk were subjected to high-precision strikes. The capacities of the Artem plant in Kiev, where ammunition for Ukrainian MLRS was produced, were hit. There were also strikes on an armored plant in Kharkiv and a number of other Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises.
The mercenaries did not pass
On October 27, the Russian armed forces continued to restrain the onslaught of Ukrainian formations. The enemy's attacks were repulsed in three main strategic directions.
— In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy, with up to two company tactical groups reinforced by mercenaries, attacked the positions of Russian units in the direction of the settlements of Nikolaevka and Orlyanka, Kharkiv region. All attacks have been repelled," said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
Up to 60 servicemen and militants, one tank, six armored vehicles and three pickups were destroyed, the ministry said.
In the Red-Liman direction, Russian troops stopped attempts to advance towards the settlement of Chervonopopovka in the LPR. More than 120 servicemen, three tanks, four armored fighting vehicles and four pickups were destroyed.

In the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction, the offensive of two reinforced company tactical groups of the enemy to Malaya Alexandrovka, Kherson region and the settlement of Ternovye Pody, Mykolaiv region, was disrupted. The enemy's offensive has been thwarted. The units of the VFU have been thrown back to their original lines. More than 60 servicemen, six armored combat vehicles and seven cars were destroyed.
During the day, the operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery of Russia hit four control points of the VFU, 62 artillery units. A helicopter Mi-8 of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down near Novotroitsky, Zaporozhye region.
The air defense forces shot down four UAVs, six shells of the American HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system in the area of the Antonovka settlement of the Kherson region during the day.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 326 aircraft, 163 helicopters, 2353 unmanned aerial vehicles, 383 anti-aircraft missile systems, 6104 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 876 multiple rocket launchers, 3531 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 6805 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, Igor Konashenkov listed.
Exact coordinates
The Russian Defense Ministry told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication in the battles.
Junior Sergeant Dmitry Burylov, as part of the calculation of the MLRS combat vehicle, supported the offensive of Russian troops with artillery fire. Having received from the commander the coordinates of the Ukrainian militants preparing an attack, Dmitry immediately struck at their positions. Two infantry fighting vehicles and up to 20 militants were destroyed.

During the liberation of the settlement, Captain Alexander Nikitin corrected the strikes on enemy positions with the help of UAVs. Having come under the oncoming fire of enemy artillery, he received a concussion, but continued his combat mission. According to the coordinates transmitted to them, artillery and mortar positions, armored vehicles and enemy manpower were destroyed.
The competent and skillful actions of Captain Nikitin allowed motorized rifle units to dislodge the enemy from their positions, the department said.
Senior Warrant Officer Alexey Chernyak provided communications for the battalion tactical group. During the march, the column was attacked by Ukrainian saboteurs, the communication station was damaged, but Chernyak's crew promptly restored its operability. The coordinates of the enemy were immediately transmitted, on the basis of which a retaliatory artillery strike was inflicted on the enemy.
— Alexey's courageous and professional actions made it possible to prevent losses among the personnel and repel the enemy's attack, — the Ministry of Defense noted.
Lieutenant Nikolay Yurchenko was responsible for communications in the battalion tactical group. During the VFU attack, risking his life, Nikolai promptly repaired the damaged blocks, repaired the antenna and re-configured the station. This made it possible to control the battalion tactical group in battle and repel the attack, the department said.
