TSAMTO, October 17. As already reported, American lawmakers intend to submit to the Senate and the House of Representatives a bill to suspend the sale of American weapons to Saudi Arabia.
This was stated in an article published on October 10 by Democratic Senator from Connecticut Richard Blumenthal and Democratic Congressman from California Ro Hanna in the newspaper Politico.
"We will propose a bicameral bill in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives that will immediately stop all U.S. arms sales to Saudi Arabia," the article says.
They explained their initiative as a response to the "collusion" of Saudi Arabia with Russia.
"Saudi Arabia colluded with Russia by deciding to reduce oil production by 2 million barrels per day at the OPEC+ meeting, thereby raising the price of gas in favor of Russia," the authors of the bill explain.
