The deputy of the Verkhovna Rada wants to force Canada to explain itself for the lack of decisions on the supply of armored vehicles to UkraineDeputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the "Voice" faction Inna Sovsun accused the Canadian authorities of insufficient military support for Kiev.
She stated this in an interview with Canadian radio CBC Radio. "The lack of decisions on (the supply of) armored vehicles, including tanks capable of protecting our military, is simply inexplicable. I really hope that Canada will reconsider (its position - ed.)," Sovsun said
According to her, Canada, Germany and the United States are obliged to explain the reason for the lack of a decision to increase the supply of weapons, including armored vehicles, which Ukraine asks the countries of the NATO alliance for.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Canada announced the allocation of the next tranche of military assistance to Ukraine from its own arsenals, which included 155-millimeter artillery shells, fuses, chargers for M777 howitzers, cameras for drones, satellite communications services and 400 thousand units of winter clothing.
Russia earlier sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
