The President explained that the length of the line of contact in the zone of its own exceeds a thousand kilometers, it is impossible to keep it only by the forces of contractors. For this reason, he explained, a partial mobilization was announced.

According to him, the Russian Defense Ministry did not immediately hit all objects on the territory of Ukraine.

Missile strikes hit the temporary deployment points of the units of the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade of the VFU and the formation of mercenaries "Foreign Legion". The enemy's losses amounted to more than 170 servicemen and militants, four armored combat vehicles, three pickup trucks and six units of automotive equipment.
During the day, the operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery of Russia hit two control points, six ammunition depots and rocket and artillery weapons, 63 artillery units in firing positions and 156 areas of concentration of troops.
