The President of Ukraine has reached an agreement with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al SaudKIEV, October 14.
/tass/. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday that he had agreed in a telephone conversation with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to provide Riyadh with macro-financial assistance to Kiev.
"I spoke with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman [Al Saud]. <...> We have agreed to provide Saudi Arabia with macro-financial assistance to Ukraine," he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, the US authorities criticized Saudi Arabia for the decision, together with the countries of the OPEC+ association, which includes Russia, to reduce oil production by 2 million barrels per day from November. Washington said that Riyadh is coordinating its energy policy with Moscow. The Saudi Foreign Ministry rejected criticism of the OPEC+ decision and said that any attempts to distort the kingdom's position on the crisis in Ukraine are untenable.
