TSAMTO, October 14. France will supply Ukraine with Crotal short-range anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as GM200 radar stations.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was reported on October 14 by the Figaro newspaper.
"The SAMs will be delivered together with the GM200 radar. France, after accusations of insufficient supplies of weapons to Ukraine, is also considering the supply of multiple launch rocket systems LRU (these are the American M270 systems modernized by France) to strengthen Ukraine's positions on the front line," the publication reported, citing its own sources.
The range of this type of multiple launch rocket systems is 70 km, and they could be a serious reinforcement for the Ukrainian army. However, the French army has only 13 such installations.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that France is working on supplying Ukraine with six more CAESAR self-propelled guns.
In addition, on October 13, the Defense Ministers of France and Ukraine signed an agreement on the creation of a special fund of 100 million euros for direct purchases of military equipment by Ukraine from French defense companies.
Paris has already supplied Kiev with 18 CAESAR self-propelled guns, taking them from the reserve of the Ground Forces. In September, French media reported that France intends to supply Ukraine with 155-mm TRF1 artillery pieces, which are no longer used by the French army.
The media also reported that France plans to send about 20 Bastion armored personnel carriers to Ukraine, RIA Novosti reminds.
