Stoltenberg: Ukraine is not a de facto or de jure member of NATO

NATO Secretary General made a statement, which became a kind of review of the Minister of defense of Ukraine Reznikova. Recall that today Mr. Reznikov said that "Ukraine is is actually part of NATO. Stoltenberg obviously hastened to dismiss this interpretation Ukrainian official.

According to the Secretary General of the North Atlantic military bloc, NATO will continue to provide assistance to Ukraine, "but no more".

Stoltenberg:

The Alliance intends to follow the fifth article of the Charter only in the case when it comes to protecting members of the Alliance. Ukraine is not one of them neither de facto nor de jure.

NATO Secretary General pointed out that the Alliance will continue to provide help and support, adding that "to talk about some of the circumstances in which NATO can go for the use of nuclear weapons, should not be".

Stoltenberg:

The circumstances under which NATO can go for the use of nuclear weapons, look very distant.

Earlier, the President of France Emmanuel macron said that even if against Ukraine will use nuclear weapons, France to apply it will not, since French doctrine of nuclear response in the event of an attack on another country is not implied.
