The publication also indicated that the British government will transfer an additional 18 howitzers to Ukraine. Earlier, London had already sent 20 M109 howitzers to the Ukrainian authorities.
According to the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom, Ben Wallace, the delivery of missiles to Kiev for NASAMS is due to massive strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on energy, military administration and communications facilities of Ukraine in recent days. The Times stressed that the new aid package to Ukraine was discussed at Wallace's meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels on Wednesday.
