The seventh plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 19th convocation was held in Beijing from October 9 to 12BEIJING, October 12.

The plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) stressed the need to respond appropriately to the risks and threats caused by the crisis in Ukraine. This is stated in a communique published on Wednesday by the Xinhua news agency following the results of the seventh plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 19th convocation.

"[It is necessary] to respond appropriately to the risks and threats posed by the Ukrainian crisis," the document says.

The seventh plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 19th convocation was held in Beijing from October 9 to 12 this year. It was attended by 199 members of the Central Committee and 159 candidates for members of the CPC Central Committee. This is the last plenum of the CPC Central Committee of the 19th convocation on the eve of the XX Congress of the Communist Party of China opening on October 16.
