The enemy was thrown back
On October 10, the armed formations of Ukraine tried to attack simultaneously in several strategic directions. In the Kupyansk area, the enemy forces of four company tactical groups made unsuccessful attempts to attack near the settlements of Kislovka, Tabayevka and Kuzemovka, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
— All attacks of the AFU units are repelled. The enemy's losses amounted to more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, five tanks, four armored combat vehicles and 15 units of automotive equipment, — said the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, the units of the VFU unsuccessfully tried to force the Zherebets River. The enemy is suppressed by the fire of rocket troops and artillery.

— I think such strikes will continue on a permanent basis and this will affect the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian formations located on the contact line, — military expert Vasily Dandykin told Izvestia. — Strikes on power engineering, traction substations, depots where electric locomotives stand, fuel and lubricants storages will definitely affect the entire military machine. Now it will be more difficult for Ukrainian groups to deliver ammunition, to carry out their clothing supply, and it will also make it difficult for reserves to maneuver from the rear to the front or between strategic directions.
According to the expert, the enemy will not feel safe throughout Ukraine.

— Now they will know that they will be taken anywhere in Ukraine. This should moderate their ardor and discourage many from coming to Ukraine.
The expert also believes that this is also a huge message to Russian soldiers and officers who are directly in the zone of combat contact.
— They will understand that they are supported by powerful blows to the rear of the enemy, — said Vasily Dandykin. — This will have a good effect on their morale, will help them survive a difficult period. Our reserves, which are now actively preparing, will come next.

During the day, operational-tactical, army aviation, missile troops and artillery of Russia hit six control points of the VFU, 52 artillery units in firing positions, five ammunition depots and rocket and artillery weapons, two fuel storage bases for military equipment of the VFU and 143 areas of concentration of troops.

The Russian Air Defense forces shot down six unmanned aerial vehicles, six shells of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, as well as three HARM anti-radar missiles and a Tochka-U ballistic missile during the day.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 318 aircraft, 159 helicopters, 2188 unmanned aerial vehicles, 379 anti-aircraft missile systems, 5604 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 866 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 3462 field artillery and mortar guns, as well as 6463 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, Igor Konashenkov listed.
Deliver under Fire
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the servicemen who showed courage and dedication in the battles.
The unit of Captain Alexei Yumatov carried out combat missions in the immediate vicinity of the contact line with the enemy. A group of Ukrainian saboteurs tried to secretly attack the positions, but Alexey noticed them. During the battle, the captain was wounded, but continued to lead the unit. As a result, the militants suffered losses and retreated.
Private Dmitry Baranov's car convoy came under fire from Ukrainian saboteurs. Dmitry destroyed six nationalists with small arms fire. As a result, the enemy retreated. During the collision, one of the vehicles carrying ammunition lost its speed. Baranov took the damaged equipment in tow in order to deliver ammunition to the advancing units in time.

— Having shown personal courage, Dmitry Baranov helped the column to repel the enemy's attack, preserving the life and health of his comrades, and also ensured the timely delivery of ammunition, — the military department said.
Private Zamir Agabalayev was responsible for the safety of the movement of the column of the airborne assault battalion when he discovered a group of Ukrainian saboteurs preparing an ambush.
It was decided to give battle. Zamir destroyed the enemy machine gun point and three nationalists with targeted fire. Having lost the support of the machine gun, the enemy retreated.
"The courageous and selfless actions of Private Agabalayev made it possible to prevent the impending attack on the Russian column," the Defense Ministry stressed.
The supply column of Private Alexander Malikov, being near the area of intense fighting, came under enemy fire. Despite this, Malikov continued to move to the position where he unloaded ammunition. After that, he took the damaged gun in tow and transported it to the military equipment repair point. The courage and bravery of Private Malikov contributed to the successful repulse of enemy attacks, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.
