The Allied forces are systematically pushing back the enemy in the Avdiivka direction. Alexander Safiullin, a correspondent of Izvestia, showed how they work on the positions of nationalists.
According to the stories of the fighters, Ukrainian militants hit the terrain with 152 shells, raise the copter and adjust the fire. But in response, they receive fire from allied troops, the journalist said.
"The fortifications into which the APU turned private houses — dug trenches around them — are operated from a 120-millimeter cannon. There is no chance to stand or hide," says Alexander.
After the fire, the military stormed, as a result of which the Armed Formations of Ukraine (VFU) lost their fortifications. In addition, the military destroyed the cameras with which the enemy was watching the perimeter.
"We will not give up a meter, at the moment we have not retreated a meter, we have small local successes. We hold the enemy, we deliver pinpoint strikes, we conduct reconnaissance. The enemy was not allowed to pass, although he tried to make counterattacks a couple of times," said the commander of the second company of the First Corps of the People's Militia of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) with the call sign Wolf.
At the end of September, the military commander of the Izvestia TV channel, Semyon Eremin, showed how the Russian military are working on the positions of the VFU with Tulip mortars around the fortified area in the village of Vodiane in the Avdiivka direction. He noted that now the fortified area is being systematically broken up so that the Russian army can go on the assault.
On October 5, the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said that the situation in several directions is stabilizing. In particular, he pointed out that the situation has improved on the front line in the Krasnolimansk direction, the defense line is being strengthened by all available means. In addition, Russian fighters have local successes in the Ugledar direction.
Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a special operation to protect Donbass, whose residents refused to recognize the results of the 2014 coup in Ukraine. The decision to hold it was made in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the region due to the shelling of Ukrainian troops.
