/tass/. The heads of Central and Eastern European countries have called for a significant increase in military assistance to Ukraine. The corresponding statement was made on Sunday by the presidents of the Baltic states, as well as Poland, Romania, Northern Macedonia, Slovakia, Montenegro and the Czech Republic. Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda announced this on his Twitter page.
"We support Ukraine <...>, demand that Russia immediately withdraw its troops from the occupied territories, and call on all allies to significantly increase military assistance to Ukraine," the statement said.
