Expert Losev: Britain's special services can prepare provocations at EU infrastructure facilitiesMOSCOW, October 1/ Sputnik Radio.
British intelligence services can arrange provocations at critical facilities of the energy infrastructure of the European Union and blame Russia for this, says Alexander Losev, a member of the presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy.
On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking about the sabotage on the threads of the Nord Stream, said that "the Anglo-Saxons have not had enough sanctions, they have begun to destroy the pan-European energy infrastructure."
Losev noted that "this means that it could have been the British."
The pressure dropped in the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines on September 26. The Danish authorities notified the Russian Federation about the explosions at the site of the gas leak and did not rule out targeted sabotage.
Nord Stream AG, the operator of Nord Stream, reported that the scale of the emergency is unprecedented, and it is impossible to estimate the repair time.
The Kremlin called the incident an act of international terrorism.
Earlier, Sputnik radio told how a Chinese diplomat hinted at the involvement of the United States in the emergency on the "Northern Streams".
