But now it is finally clear: it is almost impossible to successfully complete a special military operation by the peacetime army. We need more people, more trained infantry. About what areas of development of the Armed Forces were outlined by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu — in the material of RIA Novosti.
Conscription to the front
During the partial mobilization, 300 thousand reservists will be called up. This is 1.1 percent of the total mobilization resource, which is 25 million people.
Sergei Shoigu noted that the appeal of students "is not and will not be discussed under any circumstances." Conscripts will also not be sent to the military operation zone.
First of all, they mobilize those who have served, have a military accounting specialty, as well as combat experience. "These are not some people who have never seen or heard anything about the army," the minister stressed. And he clarified that everyone will receive the status of military personnel under the contract.

Graduates of military departments can also be called upon if their specialties are needed. "If not, they will continue to work quietly for the good of the motherland at the defense industry enterprises," said Andrei Kartapolov, head of the Duma Defense Committee. All employees of the defense industry are entitled to a deferral from conscription.
The mobilized will be trained, retrained and only after that they will begin to perform combat tasks. This is necessary to control the contact line of 1,000 kilometers and the liberated regions. "Naturally, what is behind and what is there, along this line, must be secured, these territories must be controlled," Shoigu explained.
Sokolov recalled that Russia has introduced a relatively small contingent to Ukraine — 120-150 thousand. At the same time, there were about 200 thousand in the pre-war APU. If we sum up all the power units, then Kiev can put a million under the gun. Russia's mobilization resource, according to Shoigu, is 25 million.

People without experience are not needed
The secretary of the Presidential Council for Human Rights, Alexander Tochenov, clarified that those who are fit for service cannot be mobilized by law.
There is no legal ban on leaving the place of residence in case of partial mobilization, it is valid from the moment of receipt of the summons.
The base of the mobilization deployment of formations and military units, military commissariats and the reinforcement apparatus are fully ready, Shoigu noted. The heads of the regions have already been instructed to ensure the draft on time. They responded promptly in the Ryazan, Perm, Kursk, Volgograd regions, as well as in St. Petersburg and Tuva. Draft commissions are being created, the decree is being explained to the population. It is emphasized that people without experience will not be called.
"The President clearly and clearly said that we are talking about those who have a military accounting specialty," says military expert Alexander Zhilin. — These are people who served in the Armed Forces, with training. Their military ID says: tankman, gunner, infantryman, and so on. If you summon office plankton, they will fight a little."
Lost half the staff
The head of the defense department said that the Ukrainian side lost half of its personnel during the special operation. "At the initial stage, there were 201-202 thousand people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During this time, more than 100 thousand of their losses. At the same time, there were 61,207 dead and 49,368 wounded," he said.
Losses of the Russian army — 5937 people. More than 90% of the wounded returned to service — thanks to the doctors.
Russia is fighting not so much with Ukraine as with the collective West, Shoigu recalled. And he added: Ukraine has completely lost its own weapons, which have remained since Soviet times. European countries that also had weapons made in the USSR, for the sake of Kiev, "cleaned out everything they had, all warehouses, and thoroughly swept them."
The most striking example is Poland, which handed over modernized Soviet T—72M tanks to Ukraine. In fact, the Polish Army was left without heavy armored vehicles. And the German "Leopards", American "Abrams" and South Korean "Black Panthers" allies are not in a hurry to deliver yet.
Nevertheless, Ukraine is hastily arming itself. Before the autumn thaw, the APU has the opportunity to strike in several directions. In the coming days, we should expect an escalation along the entire front line. Kiev is unlikely to miss the chance to attack Russian units and formations until they are replenished by reservists, and launch rocket and artillery strikes at the places of the referendum.
