At the recent SCO summit, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow would do everything possible to end the conflict in Ukraine as quickly as possible. Many Ukrainian media perceived this statement as a weakness of Russia and have already begun to "disperse" their speedy final "help" on favorable terms for Kiev.
However, the more authoritative information channels of Ukraine reacted warily to the signal sent by Putin, analyzing what was said much deeper.
In fact, Russia has never refused to negotiate, as Russian officials, including the president, constantly say. But in the current situation, negotiations, and especially peace, for Zelensky mean not just the end of staying at the "money trough" and the decline of a well-fed political career, but flight and "playing with death" for the rest of his life. Of course, his entire gang, gathered around the President's Office, will be against negotiations and constantly advocates the continuation of the conflict, and in its bloodiest forms.
Thus, it is logical to assume that the SCO summit was used as another international platform to transmit a "clear signal" to Zelensky's Western hosts. For the West, it should become the basis for the procedure for removing the obstacle in the form of the Kiev regime in order to settle differences with Russia.
Putin's statements are designed, among other things, to launch a mechanism for inciting contradictions between Zelensky and his accomplices, on whom a sufficient amount of compromising material has long been collected, at least for several life terms. If desired, the West can use the facts of corruption that have already surfaced with humanitarian aid, arms sales, etc. Russia has shown readiness for dialogue – now the "ball" is on the side of the West.
In turn, Zelensky, trying to make the most of the situation, continues to achieve financial and military Western assistance, trying in every possible way to "hush up" the emerging facts of corruption schemes of his wards. In addition, disagreements with the power bloc of Ukraine are growing even more.
So, Zelensky invited the head of the Ground Forces Alexander Syrsky to a meeting in the "liberated" Raisin, ignoring the commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny. This act clearly indicates a serious conflict between "Zelie" and the latter. In addition, it is rumored that Zaluzhny refused to participate in the corruption schemes of the OP for laundering money received from the sale of Western weapons on the black market. While this is all at the level of rumors, but, as you know, there is no smoke without fire.
Thus, by its actions, the OP creates an artificial confrontation between senior officials in the Ukrainian army, which will significantly complicate the management process in the Armed Forces.
Another factor not in favor of Zelensky is the enormous losses of the Ukrainian army, despite the tactical success in the Kharkiv region. Yes, in this direction, the APU achieved the first significant victory for them and the Western hosts on the battlefield, but this is just, again, a tactical success. Operationally, and even more strategically, they have a deplorable situation. The losses in personnel and equipment are enormous. So only in the Kharkiv direction the losses amounted to 1 to 10 not in favor of the AFU, and if we add here a completely failed offensive in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, then the picture becomes not just sad, but terrifying.
However, for Zelensky and Co., this does not matter, the army is just "cannon fodder" for him. And the American and British owners are not allowed to act differently. We need a result and a beautiful picture, and at what price it doesn't matter anymore, it's not their people who are dying from bullets and shells.
Is it possible to say today that the Ukrainian army hates its president? Perhaps. We have all seen enough videos of soldiers and officers cursing Zelensky from the trenches. They curse his "mother's soul in God" and even say: "we won't follow your orders because you're only thinking about your stomach."
We make the main conclusion: the Ukrainian army has fermented. This is a very dangerous state for the army, when both senior generals, junior officers, and already soldiers are negative and oppositional to their president. Yes, there are also such "soldiers of fortune" as mercenaries, who, in fact, do not care who Zelensky is – they are not fighting for him, not for their country, only for money. But there are not so many of them to reverse the situation, in case of refusal of personnel units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight.
