This was stated on Thursday by the head of the EC Ursula von der Leyen at a press conference with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev. "I recommend to all our member countries - and I shouldn't even recommend, since we all share this approach - to supply Ukraine with all the weapons it needs so that it can defend itself. She has already proved that she is capable of doing this if she is well armed. The EU does not have its own weapons, but it simplifies this process (arms transfers - approx. TASS) with the help of the European Peace Foundation," von der Leyen said.
