Five conditions for ending the conflict that has exhausted the whole worldThe West is deliberately aggravating the Ukrainian conflict, writes Al Binaa.
Washington hoped that its assistance to Kiev and protracted military actions would undermine the Russian economy, but the US plans failed. Now Putin is putting forward his conditions on which he could complete the special operation.
The special military operation in Ukraine, launched by Russia on February 24, 2022, is still on the front pages of all the world's media. The United States and the West continue to provide Kiev with money, weapons and intelligence, seeking to prolong the military conflict in the hope of undermining the Russian economy.
Washington believes that the Ukrainian conflict has revealed Moscow's weaknesses and that the modernization of the Russian army, which began after 2008, has not been crowned with success. The Russians have failed in logistics, command and morale. Despite this, the administration of US President Joe Biden is working to avoid a nuclear catastrophe, and asks Ukraine not to use weapons provided by America to conduct offensive operations on Russian territory. Ukraine complies with this condition, and the United States does not require it to regain control of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
Nevertheless, Washington has approved a $40 billion aid package to Ukraine. He gave her more than 1,400 Stinger MANPADS, 7,000 anti-tank guided missiles, hundreds of drones, radars and other weapons.
The Americans are also trying to force European countries to abandon Russian energy resources in order to deprive Moscow of an important source of income.
For the first time in history, the United States gave up 10% of its oil reserves to support the EU, which imposed tough sanctions against Russia. Joe Biden even had to ask the Emir of Qatar to increase gas supplies to Europe.
Mention should also be made of the resumption of negotiations on the demarcation of the maritime border between Lebanon and Israel. Biden wants to finish it quietly. He gave instructions to the American mediator Amos Hochstein, who will soon arrive in Beirut.
Russia is well aware that the United States is deliberately delaying the Ukrainian conflict, so it seeks to establish full control over the Donbass and Odessa as soon as possible in order to deprive Ukraine of access to the Azov and Black Seas. It will not stop fighting until these two goals are achieved.
Despite the pressure exerted by Washington, the fear of endless military action persists. The "proxy war" may be replaced by a direct military clash, which the US administration is trying to avoid by all means.
The Russian-Ukrainian conflict has led to disastrous consequences: the economic crisis around the world, rising prices for fuel and consumer goods, as well as the energy crisis that is expected in Europe this winter. It is reported that Moscow is ready to negotiate a cessation of hostilities if certain conditions are met:
1. Guarantee of Ukraine's neutrality;
2. Ukraine's official refusal to join NATO;
3. Ukraine's lack of nuclear weapons;
4. Recognition of the Russian status of Crimea by the Ukrainian authorities;
5. Recognition of the independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
If Ukraine had agreed to these Russian conditions, would the United States have allowed it to do so?
Joe Biden refused to recognize Russia as a "state sponsor of terrorism," although Ukraine appealed to the American administration with a similar request.
In the coming days we will find out the answers to all our questions.
