In five days of fighting, Ukrainian formations lost more than 4 thousand killed and 8 thousand woundedAt the weekend, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced a large-scale transfer of the Russian Izyumsko-Balakleya group to another direction.
These forces will be involved in the battles in the Donbass. Military experts explain this step by the need to concentrate forces as quickly as possible on crucial places where the intensification of hostilities is expected. In intense battles in two main directions from September 6 to 10, the losses of Ukrainian armed formations amounted to more than 4 thousand killed and more than 8 thousand wounded, the defense ministry said. Due to the strikes of the Kiev regime on the energy infrastructure, the last power unit of the Zaporozhye NPP was stopped at the weekend.
Big castling
On Saturday, September 10, the military department reported that in order to achieve the goals of a special military operation to liberate Donbass, it was decided to regroup Russian troops stationed in the areas of Balakleya and Izyum. They are used to increase efforts in the Donetsk direction.
Within three days, an operation was carried out to transfer the Izyumsko-Balakleya group of troops from the Kharkiv region to the territory of the DPR. During this operation, a number of distracting and demonstration activities were carried out with the designation of the actual actions of the troops, the Ministry of Defense reported. At the same time, in order to prevent damage to the Russian forces, powerful strikes were inflicted on the enemy with the use of aviation, rocket troops and artillery. As a result, more than 2 thousand Ukrainian and foreign fighters were destroyed, as well as over 100 armored vehicles and artillery units, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said.

In the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction, where the Ukrainian offensive was prevented in the previous days, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the temporary deployment point of units of the 36th Marine Brigade. More than 100 military personnel and 15 units of automotive and armored vehicles have been liquidated.
In total, in the Kharkiv and Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog directions from September 6 to 10, enemy losses amounted to more than 4 thousand killed and more than 8 thousand wounded, the military department said.
— From a political point of view, such a castling was probably an ambiguous decision, but its military meaning is obvious, — military expert Dmitry Boltenkov explained to Izvestia. — This direction was not initially a priority in the special operation. The Kharkiv region is not included in the list of its stated goals. The occupied territories there were used as a buffer to cover both the LPR and the Russian border. But they diverted a lot of forces and resources to their retention. And those are needed in other places now. Therefore, the front will now pass through natural obstacles, which will allow the release of part of the grouping.
It is no secret that Ukraine is preparing a new strike with its strategic reserve, created with the help of NATO, now in the DPR. The concentration of equipment was found under the Coal Mine. Trial attacks of the transferred reinforcements of the VFU and in the area of the recently liberated Sand near Donetsk begin. To repel these attacks, and then liberate the rest of the territory of the DPR, additional forces will be required, the expert believes.
Seventeen drones
Over the weekend, Russian troops continued to strike at Ukraine's military infrastructure. Iskander high-precision ground-based missiles struck the concentrations of troops of the 28th Motorized Infantry Brigade.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed information about power outages. "Complete power outage in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, partial — in Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy," he wrote on Twitter.
Deliberately and purposefully
The Kiev regime continues deliberate shelling of energy infrastructure, the Russian military department said. Since September 1, the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP and the city of Energodar have been shelled 26 times. Due to the strikes on transformer substations, Energodar was left without electricity twice - on September 6 and 8.
Due to the shelling, the last working power unit of the NPP was stopped at 4 a.m. on September 11, adviser to the head of the Rosenergoatom concern Renat Karchaa said on Sunday. He clarified that the shutdown was carried out in a soft, safe mode.
In order to de-energize settlements, kindergartens and industrial enterprises of the DPR, Ukrainian troops repeatedly struck artillery strikes on 22 other important power supply facilities.
So, on September 1, three mines of the Donetsk Coal Energy Company were de-energized. Because of this, dozens of miners were blocked underground. On September 10, due to the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, 19 transformer substations were de-energized. As a result, more than 1.6 thousand civilian objects were left without power supply.

The daily strikes on the power supply facilities of the civilian infrastructure are carried out by the Kiev regime intentionally and deliberately, Igor Konashenkov stressed.
Withdrawal under fire
The Russian Defense Ministry told about the soldiers and officers who showed courage and dedication during the special operation.
A motorized rifle regiment under the command of Colonel Alexander Zavadsky defended a settlement liberated from Ukrainian nationalists. Having assessed the threat from actively advancing opponents, Alexander competently planned the defense by installing mine-explosive barriers and conducting concentrated fire on the enemy in particularly dangerous areas of a likely breakthrough.
Under the incessant artillery and mortar shelling of the nationalists, the colonel, competently managing the personnel of the regiment, thwarted the offensive of the nationalists, who suffered significant losses in manpower and military equipment. Showing courage and determination, Alexander Zavadsky successfully completed the task and ensured the timely withdrawal of his units to the reserve lines, preserving the lives and health of subordinate personnel.

The commander of the self-propelled artillery platoon, Sergeant Yevgeny Abramov, as part of the battalion tactical group, carried out the task of holding a strategically important settlement. The sergeant's unit was subjected to a massive fire attack by superior enemy forces. In tense conditions, the calculation under the command of Abramov took an unequal battle, during which he destroyed two enemy infantry fighting vehicles and about 15 nationalists.
During the redeployment of artillery positions, mortar fire began, as a result of which one of the servicemen received a shrapnel wound. Yevgeny, reacting instantly, gathered the remaining servicemen with him and organized an exit from under fire. At the same time, he picked up a wounded serviceman in his arms and carried him to a safe place.
