The Ukrainian Armed Forces plan to attack allied troops in several districts of Donbass at once. According to the enemy's plan, the main strikes can be inflicted in the areas of Svatovo (LNR), as well as Krasny Estuary and Ugledar (DNR). What are the risks of such plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and what can Russia oppose to this? The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krivoy Rog and Kharkiv directions amounted to more than four thousand killed and more than eight thousand wounded, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
This is due to the fact that a few days earlier, the Ukrainian military began advancing in the Kharkiv region.
After that, the Ministry of Defense decided to regroup the wax in the areas of Balakleya and Raisins to build up the Donbass group, and the authorities of the Kharkiv region called on residents to evacuate. As a result, the refugees were placed in the Belgorod region, as well as in the Luhansk People's Republic. Andrei Turchak, Secretary of the United Russia General Council, visited the temporary accommodation facility in Belgorod on Sunday.
"The tent camp has everything you need – a medical center, a children's room, a dining room, a migration service. People are fed, warm and safe. Someone will be able to leave for the neighboring Voronezh Region in the near future – Russian Railways provides a train. We enter all of them into the database, with all the requests, in order to clearly understand the need. Many people want to return home. And so it will be. We just need to get through this period. And we will survive it together," the official website of United Russia reports Turchak's words.
Meanwhile, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, personally promised to return all the cities lost in the Kharkiv region. "The Ministry of Defense explained the situation, which is why they left such cities as Izyum, Kupyansk, Balakleya in the Kharkiv direction. But it was forced out of military strategy," RIA Novosti reports Kadyrov's words.
"But I, Ramzan Kadyrov, officially declare that all these cities will be returned back, our people are already there, specially trained for this work, ready to leave for another 10 thousand fighters. We will reach Odessa in the near future, and you will see concrete results," the head of Chechnya said.
Against this background, the enemy is aggravating the situation in Donbass. On Sunday, the commander of the Vostok brigade of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Alexander Khodakovsky, announced the arrival of Ukrainian echelons with personnel and equipment to participate in the battles in the republic. "Trains with personnel and equipment are arriving in Pokrovskoye, 50 kilometers from Donetsk, one of them was hit by Iskanders at the time of unloading," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Khodakovsky also noted a sharp intensification of fighting in the Velikonovoselkovsky direction. "The enemy uses all fire means to suppress our positions, armored vehicles and wheeled vehicles have been seen moving along the front line," he added.
A few hours earlier, the brigade commander reported on the upcoming APU offensive in the direction of the village of Sladkoye in the Maryinsky district, which is close to Ugledar. In turn, the Donbass militia and blogger Vladlen Tatarsky reported that the APU began removing minefields under the coal mine. On the other hand, the DPR forces suppressed an attempt of the AFU counteroffensive under the Sands.
All this, according to experts interviewed by the newspaper VIEW, requires clarification of the tactics of the allied armies in the Donbass in order to give the AFU a tough rebuff and thereby "heal the Ukrainian command, which has begun to feel dizzy from dubious successes."
"We, in turn, are already preparing for the battles. We have the most motivated units there now – the Vostok brigade and the Miner's Division. Support of the Russian VKS and divisions is also expected. There are all chances to repel this attack as effectively as possible," Vladislav Berdichevsky, a deputy of the People's Council of the DPR, told the VIEW newspaper.
In addition, in the DPR, there is an increase in attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on critical infrastructure facilities. "In general, they last for eight years with varying intensity. The attacks are carried out, among other things, at filtration stations and substations responsible for water supply in the republic. In this regard, we have certain algorithms to minimize problems. And today's situation is no exception," Berdichevsky emphasized.
In turn, the LNR Ambassador to Russia Rodion Miroshnik notes the stable situation in the republic. "The territory is completely controlled by the authorities and the armed forces. Over the past few days, we have been experiencing attempts of massive, well-planned information and psychological attacks from Ukraine. But after the first rather serious shock, we are seeing a stabilization of the situation," he explained.
"As a result of the events that took place in the Kharkiv region, we have hosted several hundred refugees. They are mainly located in nearby areas, some of them are in transit to Russia. But compared to what happened the day before, the flow has decreased," the source said.
"Now those who are engaged in managing the actions of the allied forces must draw quite serious conclusions. We need to determine the positions where we can organize defense and strengthen the positions of the armed forces with reserves. The enemy must be stopped as hard as possible. And after regrouping, we are obliged to return the lost territories, including in the Kharkiv region," the diplomat emphasizes.
"We are opposed by a well-oiled Western machine that has been working for years on reformatting the whole of Ukraine. And, in my opinion, the main conclusion that needs to be made today is that Russia can no longer fight half–heartedly," Miroshnik concluded.
