TSAMTO, September 9. Since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, the United States has supplied Kiev with almost half a million 155 mm shells, 16 HIMARS MLRS and several thousand GMLRS shells.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, was announced at a press conference at the Ramstein military base by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milli.
"According to the data to date, the United States has transferred to Ukraine 16 HIMARS MLRS and several thousand GMLRS shells to them," M. Milli said.
He also pointed out that Washington handed over to Kiev M777 howitzers with hundreds of thousands of shells. Thousands of ATGM units, thousands of MANPADS, HARM missiles, as well as small arms were transferred, he noted.
"The United States, for example, provided almost half a million artillery shells of 155 mm caliber," he said.
According to him, "Ukraine is well provided with all the systems necessary for its defense."
