Attempts to attack the VFU in the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction remain unsuccessfulAt the weekend, the Kiev regime continued unsuccessful attempts to attack in the Mykolaiv-Krivoy Rog direction, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported.
At the same time, the enemy lost over 30 tanks and almost 400 soldiers. Three Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft and a MiG-29 fighter were shot down in air battles. The launcher of the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and the Bayraktar attack drone were destroyed. Experts note that in the south of the country, the enemy threw into battle reserves on foreign equipment, which had been accumulating for months.
Fire damage
— During the day of fighting in this direction, the enemy lost 11 tanks, 17 infantry fighting vehicles, 10 other armored combat vehicles, five pickups with heavy machine guns and more than 150 servicemen, — said on Sunday the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
A day earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 23 tanks, 27 infantry fighting vehicles, 14 other armored combat vehicles, nine pickups with heavy machine guns and more than 230 military personnel in the same area.
Due to the large losses of the VFU in this direction, there are not enough beds, medicines and blood supplies in medical institutions of Nikolaev and the Mykolaiv region. To detain deserters in Nikolaev, the number of military patrols has been increased and additional posts have been set up at the entrances to the city, the general added.

High-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the temporary deployment points of units of the 80th airborne assault Brigade and an ammunition depot. More than 120 nationalists and 11 units of armored and special vehicles were liquidated.
As a result of concentrated fire strikes on the positions of units of the 30th mechanized and 95th airborne assault brigades, 110 militants were eliminated. The command is completing these formations from mobilized citizens from the western and central regions of Ukraine.
Up to 50 foreign mercenaries were eliminated in the Kurakhovo area of the DPR as a result of a high-precision weapon strike on two locations of foreign mercenaries.
In addition, the high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit the temporary deployment point of the company tactical group of the 95th airborne assault Brigade. More than 100 military personnel and 14 units of armored and automotive equipment were destroyed.

— Foreign samples are increasingly found on the pictures of destroyed equipment and in the reports of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, — military expert Dmitry Boltenkov told Izvestia. — This suggests that thousands of units of Soviet equipment inherited by Ukraine have been knocked out. Now the artillery is mainly represented by Western calibers, American armored personnel carriers and armored vehicles, aircraft transferred from European NATO countries participate in the offensive. All this has been going on for six months — since the beginning of the operation — and is now burning in the Kherson region.
European NATO countries have transferred to Ukraine the number of armored vehicles sufficient to man several mechanized brigades. Some of them represent the Soviet alone, some are already Western images. And now all this "team solyanka" is thrown at one strategic direction. It took months to prepare them, but judging by the pace at which it has been destroyed in recent days, soon this offensive rush of VFU reserves will dry up, the expert believes.
Intercepted "Bayraktar"
Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery hit 110 artillery units in firing positions and four control points in two days. Among them are the headquarters of the Kraken national formation, as well as the 65th and 66th mechanized brigades. In addition, nine ammunition depots, the fuel storage of the 60th Infantry Brigade, the launcher of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and up to 30 people of its combat crew, as well as 346 areas of concentration of troops and equipment were hit.

In the area of Romanovka in the Mykolaiv region, Russian Aerospace Forces fighters destroyed a Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. Two more Su-25s were shot down in the Sergeyevka area of the Kherson region, and in the Novoselovka area of the Dnipropetrovsk region — a MiG-29 of the Ukrainian Air Force, converted for the use of HARM anti-radar missiles.
Russian air defense units shot down eight unmanned aerial vehicles, including Bayraktar-TB2, three Tochka-U tactical missiles in the Kherson region, 67 multiple rocket launchers, including 48 — HIMARS MLRS, 15 — Alder, four — Hurricane, and three HARM anti-radar missiles manufactured by the USA near the settlement of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region.

On September 3, the VFU used eight unmanned aerial vehicles with suspended ammunition to strike the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. All of them were blocked by Russian electronic warfare means when approaching the station, after which the grenades were forcibly dropped in deserted places at a distance of more than 1.5 km from the security perimeter of the station. The radiation situation remains normal.
— In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 287 aircraft, 151 helicopters, 1,872 unmanned aerial vehicles, 372 anti—aircraft missile systems, 4,804 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 824 multiple rocket launchers, 3,367 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 5,276 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed, - Igor listed Konashenkov.
Tank virtuosos
The Russian Defense Ministry told about the soldiers and officers who showed courage and dedication during the special operation.
The unit of Captain Andrey Zharekhin was providing security for the movement of the column when Andrey discovered a group of Ukrainian nationalists preparing an ambush. The identified militants opened mortar fire. As a result, one of the cars in the column failed. Then Andrey decided to give battle to the enemy. During it, Zharekhin pulled wounded servicemen out of the damaged car, transferred them to an armored personnel carrier and sent them to the rear.
Then Zharekhin's group retreated to the forest belt, where they found a combat post of Ukrainian nationalists. Having secretly approached the positions, the servicemen destroyed four militants and found valuable documents and technical means at the post, after which they returned to the positions of their troops without losses.

Major Sergey Menshaev has been repairing weapons and special equipment not only in stationary repair shops, but also in the field since the first days of the special military operation. Thanks to his competent and professional actions, more than 40 units of technical equipment of the rocket and artillery armament service returned to service in the shortest possible time. In addition, Major Sergey Menshaev trains subordinates in new methods of diagnostics and repair, which reduces the recovery time and the return to service of weapons and military special equipment.
Private Vladimir Bender, as part of a tank crew, supported the offensive of Russian assault groups on the fortified positions of the nationalists. During the battle, Vladimir discovered a camouflaged firing point and, taking a favorable firing position, allowed the gunner to destroy it. Then the tank crew destroyed the BMP, three firing points and more than 10 Ukrainian militants. At the same time, the combat vehicle under the control of an ordinary soldier was not damaged.
Senior Sergeant Alexey Kondrashov, as part of a unit of the Russian Airborne Troops, liberated a settlement from Ukrainian nationalists. On the approaches to it, he found a group of militants equipping defensive positions, and decided to impose a fight. In its course, the enemy, suffering defeat, took advantage of the support of a mortar battery. Despite the shelling, Alexey's squad destroyed most of the armed group. Kondrashov personally eliminated three nationalists and captured a mortar spotter. The surviving nationalists left the battlefield and retreated.

Guard private Ilya Vorotnikov as part of a tank crew took part in the liberation of the settlement from Ukrainian radicals. During the offensive, he personally revealed the camouflaged position of an enemy tank and, secretly approaching from the flank, acting on the spot of the gunner, destroyed the nationalists' combat vehicle with an accurate hit. After that, Ilya destroyed another tank, two BMP-2s and up to 20 nationalists, contributing to the further displacement of militants from their positions and the liberation of the settlement. For his courage, bravery and dedication in the battle of the Guards, Private Vorotnikov was awarded the Order of Courage.
Private Alexander Ostapenko was providing security for the movement of columns of Russian troops when he discovered a large group of Ukrainian saboteurs. He reported this to the commander and was one of the first to join the battle, personally eliminating 15 nationalists. Thanks to the bold and decisive actions of Private Alexander Ostapenko, the timely and safe advance of columns of Russian troops to the positions was ensured, the military department said.
