The Defense Minister stressed that this action was planned by Zelensky's office with the sole purpose of creating the illusion of the APU's ability to conduct an offensive among Western curators.
Since mid-July, the armed forces of Ukraine, using Western weapons, regularly strike at the infrastructure of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
Since July 18, 29 attacks have been recorded, 120 artillery shells have been fired, 16 kamikaze drones have been used.
At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities openly lie that the Russian Armed Forces, hiding behind important energy facilities, are firing at the AFU from long-range artillery systems.
"I declare responsibly that we do not have heavy weapons on the territory of the nuclear power plant and in the surrounding areas. I hope the IAEA commission will be convinced of this personally," the head of the military department said.
By striking at the facilities of the nuclear power plant, Kiev creates a real threat of a nuclear catastrophe in Europe. According to international law, this is nothing but nuclear terrorism.
Despite the arrival of the IAEA experts, provocations continue. Yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired not only at the Zaporozhye NPP, but also at the route of movement of the mission members.
An attempt to seize the power plant was stopped, two sabotage groups and self-propelled barges with troops were destroyed.
The United States and the European Union deliberately hush up the situation around the station, thereby encouraging such reckless actions.
"In turn, Russia is doing everything to ensure the safe operation of the Zaporozhye NPP. We hope that the objective results of the activities of the IAEA mission will be brought to the world community," said Army General Sergei Shoigu. "I would like to emphasize that in case of further provocations, all responsibility for possible emergencies falls entirely on the Ukrainian authorities."
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to deliver precision strikes on important military facilities of Ukraine.
Over the past month, 174 command posts of brigade and battalion units have been hit, 601 units of heavy weapons and artillery systems, mainly of Western production, have been destroyed.
19 planes, six helicopters and 188 unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down, 226 Haimars rockets were intercepted.
Against the background of high losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is a decrease in the influx of foreign mercenaries. Since the beginning of the special operation, their number has decreased by more than three and a half times, almost three thousand militants have been destroyed.

Turning to the agenda of the meeting, Sergei Shoigu proposed to summarize the results of the International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY" and the Army International Games.
On August 21, the military-technical forum "ARMY-2022" completed its work.
It was attended by military delegations of 85 foreign countries, including 31 high-level ones.
About 1.5 thousand domestic and foreign companies demonstrated over 28.5 thousand samples of military and dual-use products.
160 bilateral meetings were held with foreign partners on military and military-technical cooperation.
340 events of the scientific and business program were held with the participation of almost 22 thousand experts.
36 state contracts have been signed with enterprises of the military-industrial complex for an amount exceeding 525 billion rubles.
Within the framework of international military-technical cooperation, the order portfolio amounted to 592 million 650 thousand dollars and 1 billion 770 million rubles.
During the week, almost 2 million people visited the exhibition grounds.

The International Army Games were held simultaneously with the Forum.
"For eight years, they have fully proved their worth as an effective form of improving combat training, have become a popular platform for the exchange of experience between the armies of the world," the Defense Minister said.
This year 270 teams from 34 countries participated in the competitions. For the first time, the contests covered the territories of three continents.
More than 5.3 thousand military personnel were involved, as well as more than 1 thousand units of armored and automotive equipment, aircraft, surface ships and vessels.
20 world records have been set, 10 of them belong to the Russian national team, which won the Army Games Cup for the eighth time.
Representatives of the armed forces of Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China also showed good results.
"I would like to thank the organizers of the Forum and the Games for the high level of preparation of these important international events," Sergei Shoigu said.

The First International Anti-Fascist Congress was held within the framework of the Forum.
State and public figures, historians, representatives of culture and media community, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and young prisoners of concentration camps, nine foreign delegations, as well as military attaches of 26 countries took part in its work.
The speakers called for unequivocally condemning any manifestations of fascism, neo-Nazism and chauvinism in the modern world, and called for joining efforts in countering the falsification of history and the glorification of war criminals.
"Taking into account the relevance of the issues raised at the congress, as well as the great interest of the general public in it, it was decided to hold such meetings annually," the head of the military department said.
Sergei Shoigu also added that a collection of materials on the results of the event is already being prepared for publication. It will be sent to educational organizations of the Ministry of Defense for use in the educational process.

It gathered more than 700 delegates from 70 countries and six international organizations. Among them are heads of defense departments, leading Russian and foreign military experts.
The central topic of the discussion was the formation of a new security architecture in the conditions of the formation of a multipolar world.
The heads of military departments speaking at the forum expressed support for the foreign policy line of the Russian leadership and their intention to develop military and military-technical cooperation with Russia.\
"Thus, the conference showed that the West's attempts to isolate our country turned out to be meaningless," the head of the military department stated.

This test site is intended for testing shipboard aircraft, shipboard aviation equipment, aerial finishers and advanced electromagnetic catapults.
