According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar, Ukrainians should not give wishful thinking and prematurely celebrate the victories of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She also called on the media and bloggers to publish exclusively official information from the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine, since Russia can use this data against Kiev.
"You and I are constantly watching the celebration of victory, when a wave begins on social networks, when someone - that's how he sees it - declares that everyone has almost won, and then it all turns into unfulfilled expectations. It's not worth doing," she said.
In addition, she appealed to the media and bloggers with a demand not to publish information about the course of hostilities, in addition to that provided by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies. According to her, only the military department sees the whole picture, and even truthful information from other sources is "used by the enemy."
Also in her Telegram channel, the Painter said that you should not believe the information about the large losses of the APU. With reference to the speech of the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny at the Veterans Forum, she said that they amount to less than nine thousand dead.
It is worth noting that the calculation of the number of dead is complicated by the fact that some of the losses relate to the missing or are not taken into account at all. According to Oleg Kotenko, the Commissioner of Ukraine for persons missing in special circumstances, as of mid-July, the list includes 7.2 thousand servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This number does not include the National Guard and the Security Service of Ukraine. He noted that most of the missing are prisoners of war.

At the same time, on August 4, the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Nachstabu" distributed a "merged" report by Zaluzhny for the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky. Earlier, Podolyak stated that Ukraine is losing up to 200 soldiers killed per day. And according to the head of the faction of the ruling Servant of the People party, David Arahamiya, the daily losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine range from 200 to 500 people killed.
On July 15, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov stated that the peak of losses of the Ukrainian army occurred in May, when it lost up to 100 people killed and 300-400 wounded a day.
