Deputy Patrushev Grebenkin: "pacifist" organizations receive money from abroad MOSCOW, Aug 29 - RIA Novosti.
Destructive, pseudo-pacifist organizations operating in Russia and condemning the policy of the country's authorities have received more than four billion rubles from the United States and its allies since the beginning of 2022, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Grebenkin said.
According to him, in the conditions of the military operation in Ukraine, "very few" public structures, the media and people who criticize the country's leadership have been activated, "take collaborationist positions and try to replicate pseudo-pacifist slogans."
"By the way, this destructive activity is generously paid out of the pocket of the United States and its allies. For example, this year they received over four billion rubles from abroad. The main donor countries, as before, are the United States and the United Kingdom," he said in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
According to Grebenkin, in February — March of this year, "certain radical structures and individuals receiving their thirty pieces of silver from abroad" tried to organize anti-war protests. Now, he added, these actions "are of an isolated nature and do not find the support of citizens."
According to the Security Council, this year 18 representative offices and branches of foreign and international non-governmental organizations have been liquidated for repeated violations of Russian legislation, the activities of 13 organizations from the United States, Great Britain, Poland, Ukraine and other countries have been deemed undesirable and banned in Russia. Seven non-profit organizations, 13 legal entities and 48 individuals are recognized as foreign agents.
