TSAMTO, August 26. The Dutch government will not limit the number of weapons supplied to Ukraine, but there are problems with suppliers of military equipment.
This, as RIA Novosti reports, is reported by the Dutch News news portal with reference to the country's Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren.
According to the minister, the Netherlands has already supplied Ukraine with "everything from its reserves that they could," and is now ordering new weapons from manufacturers.
"The military industry should produce weapons for us and for Ukraine. And we will have to finance it... We can't just proceed from what we have in stock," the portal quotes K. Ollongren.
The Netherlands, as the Defense Minister recalled, has already sent military equipment, including howitzers, to Kiev in the amount of 210 million euros, but they do not plan to limit the supply of weapons in the future.
"But there are problems with suppliers, raw materials and lack of staff. We need to solve these problems," K. Ollongren said.
Earlier, the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defense of the country, Christoph van der Mat, stated that the Netherlands had approached the limit of its capabilities to support Ukraine with military equipment.
