According to his statement, it will take at least three years to fully integrate into the NATO weapons system. The deputy head of the Pentagon noted that, ideally, the future of the Ukrainian army will be based not on dozens of different systems, but on a much smaller number of them, which are easier to maintain and maintain.
At the same time K.Kahl added that more than 50 countries have provided military assistance to Ukraine in recent months.
As the agency reminds, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexey Reznikov announced on July 12 that Ukraine had become an associate member of the Interoperability Program (MIP), which implements technological cooperation of the armies of NATO member states. So now Ukraine, as an associate member, has the right to jointly develop and amend key NATO standards concerning the interaction of combat control systems and related standards.
