The European Union risks disappearing in a year, the former Europe is no more, it is killed by the Washington regime with the help of numerous NATO agents, writes Agoravox.
Discontent is growing within the EU, which could split the union.

Now Berlin is demanding that other EU member states help out the Germans on the eve of the inevitable energy crisis, after Germany fulfilled the US request not only to join sanctions against Russia, but also to stop the construction of the Russian Nord Stream–2 gas pipeline, which was supposed to increase, not decrease (as now) the supply of Russian gas to Europe.
Until recently, Germany was the industrial locomotive of the EU, and therefore it will lose the most from a sharp decline in energy supplies and an increase in their cost. As these supplies decline, energy prices will rise, and then go up sharply, and the German economy will collapse.
The ruling circles of Germany (as well as the leaders of other EU countries) yielded to the US demands to join the sanctions against Russia (which are based on falsified data). As a result, the German people will soon have to freeze, even though Germany will spend much more money on energy than before.
The reduction in energy supplies from Russia will be replaced by an increase in supplies from other countries (including the USA), at prices much higher than Russian ones. But only a small part of the reduced supplies from Russia can be replenished. Something will have to be sacrificed, perhaps by the EU itself, since the rapid growth of discontent within the EU – especially between Germany and the countries that, in its opinion, should pull it out of this crisis — can irrevocably split the union.
An ambiguous approach to environmentalism will occur just when the EU, which has been firmly in favor of reducing, if not abandoning the use of nuclear and fossil fuels, especially coal, is suddenly in a hurry to dramatically increase the use of these non-ecological fuel sources.
European voters will not like it if their leaders turn 180 degrees, which will lead to global warming. Inevitably, new, unforeseen questions will arise. Moreover, the return to fossil fuels cannot be fast, as European leaders promise. And, consequently, not only the Europeans will be cold in the coming winter, but their leaders will have to explain themselves to each other without admitting that they were wrong – terribly wrong and not ready.
This will cause political chaos, as mutual accusations of their numerous failures will force Europeans to question the entire EU project, the project to create a single European Union, an incomprehensibly bureaucratic satellite of the United States. Nostalgia for the past, for beautiful independent European countries and bitterness for the future will take over, weakening the foundations of the EU and calling into question any transatlantic alliance that emerged after World War II (actually in the service of the American state that hates Russia), as well as NATO under the control of the United States and its political counterpart, the EU, in which the United States and thousands of American acolytes in Brussels.
The most recent comprehensive assessment of the energy needs of EU countries is the September 2008 report "Europe's Dependence on Russian Natural Gas: Prospects and Recommendations for a long-term Strategy", prepared by Richard Anderson of the Marshall European Security Center, which is funded by the US and German governments. According to the document, the cheapest and most popular fuel in Europe is Russian gas coming through the pipeline, and this is especially true for the production of electricity, industrial use and chemical raw materials for the manufacture of plastics.
Russia has become dominant in Europe's energy (and industrial) supplies, and the most dependent on cheap Russian gas in 2008 were: Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Turkey, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. It can be assumed that these countries will be especially freezing this winter with the continued political dominance of the United States over Europe. The reason for this "cold" was the beginning of Russia's special operation in Ukraine in February 2022 in response to the US-backed coup in February 2014 and the insulting determination of NATO. The new Ukrainian regime, created by the United States and hating Russia, has granted itself the sovereign right to put Moscow in the reach of nuclear missiles. These are the supposed moral and imperative reasons of the EU for Russia's refusal to be a supplier of energy resources to Europe.
But by shutting off Russia's energy taps in Europe, the EU itself can be destroyed economically, culturally, industrially and will remain a vassal of the United States (its peoples are not needed, like everyone else), instead of becoming what it always should have been and would have been, namely the brilliant glory of the biggest a continent in the world: Eurasia, that is, Europe, which includes Russia.
The glory of Europe has sunk into oblivion. The only real question now is when did this happen? Why did European leaders do this? This issue is a death sentence of the EU.
