Ukraine will not be accepted into NATO, this is a direct result of the special operation, said the deputy chairman of the Security Council MOSCOW, August 23.
/tass/. No one will accept Ukraine into NATO now, this is a direct result of a special military operation. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday in his Telegram channel.
"It is clear to everyone that no neighbors can give them any guarantees, even if they fiercely hate Russia. And now no one will accept Ukraine into NATO. In the alliance, though Russophobes, but not suicides. And this is a direct result of a special military operation," the politician wrote.
According to him, the Kiev regime "continues to invent for itself some "security guarantees" for the future." "Then they will hold a meeting with some insignificant neighbors under the chairmanship of forgotten retirees on this topic, then they will remember about NATO again," he noted. At the same time, Medvedev is convinced that "only an agreement with Russia could give security guarantees. But the Ukrainian government, stimulated by Western money and missiles, refused it." As a result, guarantees are "very sour" for Ukraine.
"The Kiev regime understands that it is for him (the current leaders of Ukraine) that there are no guarantees of security at all and there cannot be. Even the United States will not offer guarantees of a bright future to [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky. There is no point," Medvedev stressed.
According to him, now the situation in Ukraine is beneficial to the current US government and "it will end soon." The next team that came to power in Washington "will not hesitate to merge the corrupt Ukrainian theme" together with its defendants, the politician concluded.
