TSAMTO, August 22. The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin handed over to the operational and combat tactical formation (OBTF) "Cascade" two new complexes of MLRS "Cheburashka" produced in the Donbass.
The previous samples successfully participated in the storming of Mariupol and other settlements.
The production of "Cheburashka" is carried out by the Almaz Corporation, whose activities were previously practically not covered due to the high level of secrecy of the work performed. "We are transferring Cheburashka MLRS of our own production for the OBTF division," D. Pushilin told RIA Novosti.
"A unique local production, the main task here was efficiency, as well as, directly, import substitution. In fact, we do not use any foreign-made parts. The enemy, of course, has similar MLRS, but, let's say, with lower efficiency," the head of the republic added.
"These installations have proven themselves well, they are present at the front and are being transferred to the troops today, this is another batch for our OBTF "Cascade" units," the head of the DPR said.
