TSAMTO, August 22. Within the framework of the Army-2022 forum, a meeting of the Russian Defense Ministry Commission on Innovative Projects and Technologies in the third quarter was held on August 20.
The agenda of the event provided for the discussion of topical issues of creating innovative developments that take into account the real needs of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as much as possible.
During the meeting, the Deputy head of the Department of the Main Department of Innovative Development of the Russian Defense Ministry, Colonel Vladislav Alferov, noted that in connection with the special military operation in Ukraine, the work of the Commission requires increased coherence and efficiency in solving and achieving the tasks assigned to it.
So, currently, according to the decision of the Commission, 305 initiative works are being carried out. In the third quarter of 2022, 68 initiative developments were reviewed, 39 of which were approved.
In the third quarter of 2022, the Commission positively reviewed 10 innovative developments in the "no convocation" format, and the new format of the Commission's work allows reducing the opening time of work, and also ensures that the military authorities are informed about the planned initiative work in real time.
The meeting participants noted that military-technical experiments conducted in 2022 on the basis of the technopolis and landfills of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the expediency and effectiveness of using this tool to select the best initiative works.
The speakers presented reports on developments carried out in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The most active participants in the search and selection of projects within the framework of the Commission's work in the third quarter of 2022 were the Main Directorate of Combat Training of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Directorate of the Chief of Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the Main Military Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Main Armored Vehicle Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Directorate of the Troops and Security Service of the Military services of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
It is worth noting that the largest number of initiative developments are carried out by enterprises and organizations in the interests of these military authorities.
The Commission was attended by representatives of the military administration, the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rosatom and Roscosmos state corporations, the Foundation for Advanced Research, Rosgvardiya and other interested organizations.
As part of the meeting, a thematic exhibition was held at the stand of the Military Innovative Technopolis ERA, where 23 new models were presented in promising areas: unmanned aircraft, medicine, small arms, technical vision and others.
At the meeting of the Commission, a solemn awarding ceremony was held for the winner of the "Friends of the Russian Army" competition in the nomination "Enterprises and organizations – performers of initiative works". The highest award was awarded to JSC Concern Kalashnikov.
