MOSCOW, August 21/ Sputnik Radio. The Russian Armed Forces destroyed an ammunition depot in the Odessa region with Kalibr missiles, the Russian Defense Ministry reported .
An air strike in the Zaporozhye region also destroyed a fuel depot where more than a hundred tons of diesel fuel for military equipment were stored.
As a result of fire strikes on the positions of the 2nd battalion of the 28th mechanized Brigade near the settlement of Novogrigorovka, Mykolaiv region, as well as the 18th battalion of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Tokarevo area of the Kherson region, the enemy's irretrievable losses amounted to more than a hundred people, as well as seven units of armored and special vehicles, noted in the defense department.
Another 30 Ukrainian soldiers, one tank and five special vehicles were destroyed near Novomikhailovka in the DPR.
The Russian military also hit six control points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, destroyed six warehouses of rocket and artillery weapons and ammunition, two fuel depots for military equipment and an artillery battery.
Russia has been conducting a special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine since February 24.
Earlier, Sputnik radio reported that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the temporary deployment point of the "Right Sector"* in the area of Tsukurino in the DPR.
