- In the West they lie that Russia threatens Kazakhstan, - said Pukhov. - This, of course, is absolutely not true. Kazakhstan is a union and friendly state. And the main threat to him is internal instability, which resulted in the January events of this year, when the CSTO, led by Russia, helped to stabilize this situation. The second point. According to Pukhov, the voice of Kazakhstan as an ally of Russia should be heard.

An ally is a state with its own interests, with its own view of the world, and this must be taken into account. And it doesn't matter how many soldiers you have: the voice of an ally must be heard. Kazakhstan is valuable because it is our ally and has good relations with China. Including the situation of the Russian-speaking population here is better than in Ukraine.
