Russian Ministry of Defense: three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Donetsk lost their combat capability due to losses
As a result of the offensive actions of the Russian military in the Avdiivka direction, three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine left their positions due to heavy losses, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. Also, a group of Spanish-speaking mercenaries was destroyed near Kharkov, their nationality is being clarified.
The result of the next day of the special operation of the Russian military in Ukraine were large losses of the AFU in the Avdiivka direction in the DPR and near Kharkov, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Three AFU brigades left their positions near Donetsk.
"As a result of the offensive actions of the Russian troops and the people's militia of the DPR and LPR in the areas of the settlements of Soledar, Artemovsk and Avdiivka of the DPR, units of the 54th mechanized, 56th and 58th motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having lost combat capability due to heavy losses, left their positions," the message says.
In addition, the Russian Aerospace Forces eliminated up to 400 AFU servicemen with precision strikes, hitting the temporary deployment point of the 95th airborne assault brigade in the Konstantinovka area, and up to 130 people when hitting the positions of the 92nd mechanized brigade in the Russkaya Lozova area near Kharkov. The air defense forces shot down four Ukrainian drones in the air during the day, and also intercepted five MLRS shells.
On July 30, artillery units of Donbass together with the Russian military destroyed a group of Spanish-speaking mercenaries near Kharkov in the village of Russkaya Lozovaya, there is no exact data on their citizenship yet. In early March, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, said that 16 thousand foreign mercenaries were going to fight in the country. In turn, in mid-July, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that about 7.1 thousand people from 60 countries came to the conflict zone, but their number has already decreased to about 2.7 thousand.
Hacking Avdiivka
Ilya Yemelyanov, deputy commander of the 11th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the DPR, announced on the air of Channel One that 70% of the village of Peski (a northwestern suburb of Donetsk) had been taken under control.

On August 4, as a result of the shelling of the center of Donetsk by the AFU, five people were killed, including a woman with a child. Six people were injured. At least two shells hit the building of the drama theater, there was a farewell to the deceased commander of the DPR rocket artillery division Olga Kachura. A correctional colony in Donetsk was also shelled, an employee was killed there, two prisoners were wounded.
In the Avdiivka direction, the AFU formed an artillery bridgehead with multi-kilometer fortifications. Most of the shelling of Donetsk by the AFU is carried out from Avdiivka and Sand.
A day earlier, the deputy head of the Ministry of Information of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, said that there were advances in several directions of the front of the Donbass front.
