An attempt to create an operational-tactical missile system "Thunder" in Ukraine ended in failure. Now the appearance of such a thing has become completely impossible. Now the AFU command can only hope for the remnants of the Soviet "Dots", and even that the American "partners" will give them MGM-140 ATACMS capable of hitting 300 km.
These missiles can be used from the M142 HIMARS or M270 MLRS launchers. In addition to the United States, such weapons are in service with Turkey, Greece, Romania, Bahrain, the UAE and South Korea.

Interestingly, missiles that look very similar to ATACMS are produced in the DPRK. However, apparently, they are even better than the original ones, since they flew up to 700 km during the tests, and along a quasi-ballistic trajectory.

As a result, the South Koreans who followed the tests simply lost them. Such high characteristics make it possible to successfully overcome modern Western missile defense systems.
Tracked and more mobile four-wheel drive four-axle wheel units have been developed for their launch. Two missiles are placed on each of them.
It is known from previous experience that the DPRK, which is under sanctions, is ready to sell its missile weapons to all US adversaries.
