Receiving multiple launch rocket systems "HIMARS" (HIMARS) forced the armed forces of Ukraine to almost completely change the concept of warfare, which threatens to increase losses among personnel. This opinion was expressed by the author of the weekly "Zvezda" Vladimir Yeranosyan.
According to him, these MLRS have already intensified the destruction of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, since a cordon is attached to each calculation - a company or even a battalion of poorly trained infantry, which dies together with the main target. At the same time, according to the canons of military science, artillery divisions should strengthen infantry formations due to firepower. In Ukraine, the author notes, NATO has proposed a concept of using MLRS that contradicts common sense. Numerous guards are attached to the Haimars around the perimeter, which is associated with the need to increase the number of personnel.
- An excellent target is being created from manpower in the area of deployment of a combat unit, which is already clearly shown by the destruction of high-precision weapons of Western models of self-propelled guns and howitzers. When our missiles hit, not only equipment is destroyed, fighters lie down in whole platoons and companies," Yeranosyan writes.
Most often, the dead are "territorials" who are forced to dig in the vicinity of the highway, since the "Haimars" move on a wheeled chassis. Fighters are also used to load and replace cartridges with rockets due to the lack of specialized cargo transport, in particular, transport-loading machines.
The firing of MLRS is supervised by NATO instructors, each of whom is also assigned a guard. Support is also required for groups of TV crews shooting videos for the report.
- At the same time, both society and, importantly, the armed forces convince that these are invulnerable "monsters" who can move along the highway with impunity, masquerading as trucks, instantly deploy, strike, collapse in a matter of seconds and change their disposition, - the observer notes.
Attempts to convince of firepower and efficiency are easily refuted by personnel destruction and destruction of personnel. With an accurate strike on the ammunition depot, the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed more than 100 missiles to the American MLRS, and with them maintenance personnel, technical specialists and foreign mercenaries.
