The Western press continues to actively interview representatives of the supreme command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the subject of how the fighting is going and what are the prospects of the Ukrainian army. One of the interviewees on this topic was Vadim Skibitsky, Deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who spoke in an interview with the Guardian, the Russian army is able to quickly transfer troops and equipment to the direction that it considers the most important at the moment.
Skibitsky seems to complain that the transfer of large formations of Russian troops from one direction to another can be carried out in 2-3 weeks.
Vadim Skibitsky:
According to the Ukrainian senior officer, Russian troops withdrew from the northern regions of Ukraine, and after a couple of weeks appeared in the Donbas.
Skibitsky:
Recall that at one time, after the agreements in Istanbul, the Russian leadership decided to withdraw Russian troops from the Kiev, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Then it was called a gesture of goodwill. The Ukrainian regime did not appreciate the gesture of goodwill. One of the examples of the Kiev "response" was the well-known provocation of the SBU and Western special services in Bucha.
