On Saturday, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, reported that on July 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a strike from the American HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system at the detention center near Yelenovka, where Ukrainian prisoners of war were being held. According to the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as of the morning of July 30, 50 Ukrainians were killed as a result of a missile strike, 73 prisoners of war were taken to medical institutions with severe wounds.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also published on its official information resources the namesake lists of those killed and wounded as a result of the AFU missile strike on Elenovka.
