INTERFAX - The topic of military-technical cooperation will be discussed at the meeting of the Presidents of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which will be held on August 5 in Sochi, the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov said, commenting on reports about Russia's interest in cooperation with the manufacturer Bayraktar.
"Military-technical cooperation between the two countries is constantly on the agenda, and the very fact that our cooperation is developing in such a sensitive area indicates that, in general, the whole complex of our relations is at a very high level," Peskov told reporters, answering the question whether Russia is really showing appropriate interest and whether this topic will appear on the agenda of the meeting of the two presidents in Sochi. Peskov added that during the recent contacts between Putin and Erdogan, the topic of military-technical cooperation in various dimensions was touched upon. "And, as a rule, various aspects are discussed at almost every meeting. Therefore, yes, the topic of military-technical cooperation will certainly be discussed in Sochi," Peskov said.
