Moscow. July 26. INTERFAX - Tactical and special exercises with special forces formations that are part of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (FSSN CSR) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization will take place on the territory of Kyrgyzstan from August 2 to 5, the CSTO reports.
"Consolidated groups of special forces of the Organization's member states will carry out training and applied operational combat tasks to search, block and neutralize gangs, terrorist groups, as well as block drug smuggling channels and detect caches, laboratories for the storage and production of narcotic substances and their destruction," the report said.
The exercise plan provides for a command and staff training with the operational headquarters of the FSSN of the CSTO CSR on the planning of a special operation, the organization of interaction and management of diverse forces and means, shooting competitions from various types of weapons, the press release says.
