The consequences of the strike by six multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) M142 HIMARS were filmed. The relevant footage was published by the agency Avia.pro .
The servicemen recorded a simultaneous strike with supersonic missiles of the M142 HIMARS system, as a result of which a huge area was hit. According to the portal, in total, the number of combat striking elements from missiles exceeded one million.
It is not specified exactly where the footage was taken, but the American weapons turned out to have a rather powerful destructive effect. At the same time, Russian air defense systems (air defense) are quite capable of intercepting missiles, the publication notes.
On July 20, it became known that the United States would supply Ukraine with four more HIMARS MLRS. Also, the new aid package from Washington, which will be presented soon, will include ammunition for MLRS and artillery.
The Washington Post called large supplies of HIMARS MLRS for the Armed Forces of Ukraine the main priority of the summer and autumn of this year for the United States and NATO, but noted that the effect of such an initiative will be felt only next spring.
