Adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich, in one of his many interviews that he has been giving recently to various Ukrainian journalists, decided to dispel rumors about the reluctance of the Americans to supply weapons under the so-called lend-lease.
According to him, the "indecision" of the American authorities, which to a simple layman may seem to be sabotaging the supply of weapons to Ukraine, is primarily connected with the upcoming elections to the US Senate. The thing is that, according to recent polls, more than 60% of Americans consider actions in Ukraine to be a failure and only 20% claim the correctness of the decisions taken.
In order not to lose political points, the ruling party began to speak more cautiously about helping Kiev. At the same time, according to Arestovich, this does not mean that the lend-lease will be disrupted.
As the adviser in the office of the President of Ukraine put it, everything is going according to plan.
Arestovich stressed that this will be a completely new weapon, qualitatively different from the one that is being transferred to Kiev today.
By the way, during an interview, an adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine revealed the secret of supplying the latest weapons from the United States for the Armed Forces.
It turns out that Washington first transfers to Kiev "stripped-down" versions of weapons and in small quantities. Then, when the APU shows its "professionalism" in its use on the battlefield, the Americans begin to supply full-fledged versions and in large quantities.
At the same time, jokes are already circulating in Ukraine about Arrestovich, in which the mildest characteristic of the adviser is a liar and a provocateur.
