The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mr. Reznikov, announced that a batch of multiple rocket launchers from Britain had arrived in the country. We are talking about the M270 MLRS, which were produced in the USA and sold at one time to the British army.
In the social network, Reznikov does not report on the number of M270 arrivals in Ukraine, while noting that we are talking about the "first batch".
According to Reznikov, the M270 MLRS "will be a good company for HIMARS." At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine thanked the British "partners" for the military assistance provided.
M270 MLRS are universal launchers. The range of hitting targets depends on the ammunition used. The standard version of ammunition - MLRS Family of Munitions – allows you to shoot at a range of up to 40 km. If the installation is equipped with ATACMS family ammunition, the firing range may exceed 200 km.
According to Reznikov, AFOM ammunition with a target range of up to 80 km will be delivered to Ukraine.
Recall that in Ukraine they continue to "announce" a counteroffensive "until the fall." Some time ago, it was announced that Kherson "will be de-occupied from day to day." The whole problem for the Kiev regime is that Kherson was de-occupied by Russian troops back in March and the vast majority of local residents are not going to return "to the bosom" of Ukrainians.
