President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko believes that Western countries are waging an offensive hybrid war against his country. He said this today at a ceremony honoring graduates of military universities and senior officers. The Head of Belarus addressed the young officers:
Lukashenko stressed that "both national and coalition structures of the North Atlantic Bloc are involved in the confrontation with Belarus." At the same time, all available modern methods are used for aggression against the republic, including psychological operations and sabotage in cyberspace, as well as economic pressure. At the same time, Lukashenko stressed, the West failed to "shake the country from the inside" and carry out a coup d'etat with the aim of overthrowing the constitutional government.
The President believes that Belarus today remains the only country among the CSTO states that consistently fulfills its allied obligations towards Russia. While Western countries are doing their best to split the economic and political alliances that include Belarus and Russia.
— Lukashenka complained, adding that at the same time Belarus continues to maintain "a dialogue with countries that respect our opinion and our interests."
According to the Belarusian president, the policy of the West, openly supporting the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine, brings the world closer to a big war in which there will be no winners. Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that NATO countries are strengthening their military presence in eastern Europe. Western countries are actively conducting reconnaissance on the ground and in the air, mastering military logistics, conducting exercises, transferring equipment and supplies from other regions, military budgets are increasing in parallel.
— the Belarusian leader of the Western hawks warned.
Lukashenko said that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin are well aware of NATO's intentions to develop a strategic plan of attack on Russia. At the same time, as it was earlier in history, the main direction of the strike is through Ukraine and through Belarus," Lukashenko believes. The presidents of the two countries, in particular, discussed the topic of defense against possible Western aggression in a telephone conversation the day before.
