Moscow. July 11. INTERFAX-AVN - Kalibr naval missiles destroyed an armory in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where ammunition for weapons supplied from the United States was stored, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
"High-precision long-range sea-based Kalibr missiles in the area of the village of Hospitable, Dnipropetrovsk region, destroyed ammunition depots for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems supplied by the United States to Ukraine, M777 howitzers, as well as 2S7 self-propelled guns "Peony," Konashenkov said at a briefing on Monday.
Kalibr is a family of Russian long-range cruise missiles developed by the Novator Design Bureau and Almaz-Antey Concern of East Kazakhstan Region. These missiles are equipped with modern Russian ships and submarines.

On February 24, Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. In response, many countries have imposed large-scale sanctions against Russia. A number of countries supply Ukraine with weapons and equipment.
On April 25, the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mizintsev, said that the Russian army had taken control of the entire Kherson region, parts of the Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Mykolaiv regions of Ukraine, a significant part of the territory of the DPR and LPR recognized by Russia.
