Taiwan joined the list of countries supplying weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, territorial defense units received a batch of 60-mm mortar mines manufactured by Taiwan. This is reported by the Ukrainian press.
According to the "Military Portal", Ukraine received a batch of mines for Serbian-made 60-mm mortars used by territorial defense. As it turned out, all the mines were made in Taiwan. The demonstration of ammunition was carried out at one of the military training grounds, where the units of the "Zaporozhye Separate Brigade of Territorial Defense" were trained.
Speaking of "Serbian 60mm mortars", the Ukrainian edition probably means the Yugoslav 60mm mortar M57, still produced in Serbia and armed with a Special Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces. Serbia itself does not supply weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, but it is reliably known that after 2014 Kiev received shipments of Serbian weapons and ammunition through companies of European countries, in particular the Czech Republic and Poland. In 2019, the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donbas used 60-mm M73HE mines of Serbian production.

The good thing about the Serbian mortar is that it can use all types of 60 mm mortar ammunition. However, due to the small number of mortars, they are in service only with the territorial defense of Ukraine. The mass of the mortar is 19.7 kg, the calculation is three people - the commander of the calculation, the gunner and the loader, the rate of fire is 25-30 rounds per minute, the maximum firing range is 2537 meters.
According to the Ukrainian edition, the mines produced in Taiwan could have entered Ukraine together with ammunition from the United States, since Taiwan itself does not conduct direct supplies to Ukraine, especially weapons.
